The sculptures entitled “Homage to Bracelli” were executed in 1988 from engravings by Giovanni-Battista Bracelli, who was working in Italy in the XVIIth century. The original engravings are kept in the National Library in Paris.

Pascal Morabito’s idea was to use to-day’s technology to give concrete shape to these engravings, giving this very modern work a three dimensional form.
